I’ve always said, you know, that I don’t respect people who don’t proselytize. I don’t respect that at all. If you believe that there’s a heaven and hell, and people could be going to hell, or not getting eternal life or whatever, and you think that, well, it’s not really worth telling them because it would make it socially awkward … How much do you have to hate somebody to not proselytize? How much do you have to hate somebody to believe that everlasting life is possible and not tell them that? I mean, if I believed beyond a shadow of a doubt that a truck was coming at you, and you didn’t believe it, and that truck was bearing down on you, there is a certain point where I tackle you. And this is more important than that …

WHY CAN’T YOU LIVE FOR YOURSELF?!?! Christians are so weak. You rely on this “Christ” for everything! To solve your problems, to make your life better, yet so many people out there are being murdered, raped, etc. If this awesome “Christ” that you live for really existed, why would he let so many people die of cancer? Notice that when you pray for cancer to be cured, NOTHING FUCKING HAPPENS!

Live for yourself, not some made up deity.

We are all sinners. We suffer and die because of SIN.

“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned”- Romans 5:12 NKJV

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”- Romans 6:23 NKJV

I can’t live for myself because Christ first loved me, lived and died for me. I am weak. I’m only human, that’s why I rely on Him because I’m in need of a Savior. I need Christ to protect me from this already CORRUPTED world full of lies. Being a Christian doesn’t mean to make our life better, being a Christian means to BETTER OUR LIVES.

Stop blaming God for all the things that’s happening, blame the people who’s living like a FOOL in this world.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”- John 3:16 NKJV

And for the cancer part? There’s this word called FAITH.

I know a man that has back cancer, and yet, he does not go to the doctor for healing. He prays and has faith for God. Sure, it may seem like a horrible thing to say, but everything happens for the glory of God, even if affects one person.

And if you think that Christ doesn’t exist, then why do you sound so angry?

I’m just wondering why Christians get all this crap for believing in “made up” things. Anyone ever heard of Buddha? Muhammad? The thousands of Hindu gods? And what, because we actually made our faith known? Because we actually try to defend ourselves? Whatever, I’m just really sick of us getting all of the heat for what we believe in when there are plenty of other religious people who are just as hypocritical as some Christians. Btw, those other beliefs also look down upon homosexuality and abortion. JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS.

The second law of thermodynamics states that the amount of energy in a system that is available to do work is decreasing.  Entropy increases as available energy decreases.  In other words, the purely natural tendency of things is to move toward chaos, not order, and available energy necessary for work is lost (mostly as heat) in this process.  Eventually, the universe will run down and all life and motion will cease because all the energy that exists will be, more or less, evenly distrubuted so that no work can be performed and no life and exist.  This is the natural tendency of all things.  Batteries run down, machines break, buildings crumble, roads decay, living things die, etc.  Left to the natural state, all things would eventually cease to function.

  1. The universe is not infinitely old because it has not “run down.”
    1. If the universe were infinitely old, it would have reached a state where all usable energy was gone.
    2. But, we are not in this state; therefore, the universe is not infinitely old and must have had a beginning.
  2. Because the universe had a beginning, it is not infinite in size.
    1. It would require an infinite amount of time to become infinite in size.  Since the universe had a beginning, it has not had an infinite amount of time to expand; therefore, it is finite in size.
  3. All events have causes.
    1. There cannot be an infinite regress of events because that would mean the universe were infinitely old.
      1. We’ve already established that the universe cannot be infinitely old.
      2. If it were infinitely old, the universe would be in a state of unusable energy, which it is not.
      3. If it were infinitely old, the universe would be infinitely large, which it is not.
  4. Since the universe is finite and had a beginning, and there cannot be an infinite number of regressions of causes to bring it into existence, there must be a single uncaused cause of the universe.
    1. A single uncaused cause of the universe must be greater in size and duration than the universe it has brought into existence.
      1. Otherwise, we have the uncaused cause bringing into existence something greater than, or equal to, itself.
    2. Any cause that is natural to the universe is part of the universe.
      1. An event that is part of the universe cannot cause itself to exist.
      2. Therefore, there must be an uncaused cause outside the universe.
    3. An uncaused cause cannot be a natural part of the universe, which is finite.
      1. An uncaused cause would be infinite in both space and time since it is greater than which it has caused to exist.
    4. An uncaused cause would be separate from the universe.
      1. Being separate from the universe, which was caused to be, it would not be subject to the laws of the universe since it existed independent of the universe and its laws.
      2. This would mean that entropy need not be required of the uncaused cause.
  5. This uncaused cause is supernatural.
    1. By supernatural, it is meant completely ‘other’ than the universe and is not the product of it.
      1. This uncaused cause must be incredibly powerful to bring the universe into existence.
  6. The Bible teaches that God is uncaused, is not part of the universe, created the universe, and is incredibly powerful.
    1. God’s existence (in Christianity) is not an event, but a state.
    2. Psalm 90:2 says that God is God without a beginning.
    3. This means that God is uncaused.
  7. Therefore, the God of the Bible is the uncaused cause of the universe.

Because if you cannot, the alternative is to offend what you do not.

when you hear someone say, “4 billion years ago, this happened” without any actual evidence and you actually consider that believable

you should probably take a step back and try to justify
"what makes this any more believable than the story of creation?"

Me: Wowed.

Atheism is a religion. Whether it fits technically with the semantics or not is not a concern of mine; the practical definition of religion is what matters to me, not the letter of the law. And the practical definition, distasteful though it may be to those who disdain religion in all its forms, is that the very thing most atheists hate is what they have become: a religion, with clearly defined rules, eschatology and a philosophy by which to live. Religion is a means of understanding our existence. Atheism fits that bill. Religion is a philosophy of life. So is atheism. Religions has its leaders, the preachers of its tenets. So does atheism (Nietzsche, Feuerbach, Lenin, Marx). Religion has its faithful believers, who guard the orthodoxy of the faith. So does atheism. And religion is a matter of faith, not certainty.

I would very much like to bring some (albeit not all as that is not possible) to the realization that all religions set themselves apart from the crowd; they are the pure, the faithful, all others are just “religion.” Here again, atheism fits the bill.
